The selection decision regarding males is one of the most important decisions a breeder will make. Tiger Ranch is committed to using excellent herdsires. Fiber statistics are created through biopsy work and fiber analysis. Herdsires used will exhibit heritable traits in the areas of fineness, luster and density. We will be working with males that show good staple length and bundling of fibers at the skin which show organization. Uniformity throughout the blanket, a twist in the lock, which is optimal for processing and locks that separate easily. Needless to say our males are paramount to the success of our breeding program. Our emphasis is on full Accoyo which provide the genetic horse power to accomplish our goals.
